Lonely (A Laughing Jack poem)
This dusty room gets duller
With every passing day,
The sunshine's lost its golden glow,
All colors fade to gray,
As I sit in silence, numbering
The days you've been away...
I sit here in the darkness, waiting,
But even now, my hopes are fading,
And bit by bit, my mind is breaking
As the years go creeping by...
My heart's gone black, my soul's decaying,
Corrupted by the endless waiting,
Depressed no more, I've started hating
You, who left me here to die!
And so I spend the hours pacing,
Plotting, scheming, contemplating,
Eagerly anticipating
The day that you'll come back...
For when you do, I'll be here, waiting
In the shadows, eyes aglea
So quite a lot has happened in my life since I last updated...
I'm officially two months into Grade 11 (I can't believe it either)
I've got my learner's license (and NAILED PARALLEL PARKING ON MY FIRST TRY, FUCK YEAH)
I went to SaskExpo with anime15girl (https://www.deviantart.com/anime15girl) and Anime-Freak1241 (https://www.deviantart.com/anime-freak1241) last month, which was frickin' AMAZING
Aaand I've got a drawing or two that I might upload when I get the chance!
